My work begins with a simple idea, to create forms that feel honest and human. I am drawn to faces, expressions, and the quiet emotions that often go unnoticed. Through clay, I try to give shape to these moments and make them visible.
I didn’t come to ceramics with a fixed plan. It started with curiosity and slowly became a practice I return to every day. Over time, I’ve learned to appreciate the unpredictability of the material. Clay doesn’t always behave the way you expect, and that’s part of what makes the process meaningful.
Based in Dubai, I work independently, creating pieces that reflect both observation and instinct. Some are carefully shaped, while others are more spontaneous. I don’t aim for perfection, I’m more interested in character, texture, and presence.
Each piece is made with time and attention, and no two are exactly the same. For me, the process is as important as the final result. It’s a way to slow down, to focus, and to create something that carries a sense of individuality.
